Sapete quanto io ami i libri usati, non solo per il risparmio che deriva dal loro acquisto ma anche per il loro aspetto vissuto. Da un paio di mesi ho cominciato a riguardare alcuni episodi di CSI, una delle mie serie preferite di tutti i tempi, e mi sono avvicinata anche a Un giorno in pretura così mi son detta "perché non leggere qualche storia crime ispirata a eventi veri?". Di opere fantasiose ne ho viste e lette davvero tante, adesso sono curiosa di scoprire qualche caso reale così ho fatto qualche ricerca, ho chiesto anche il vostro aiuto su Instagram, e il risultato è stato "Un estraneo al mio fianco". Il romanzo è scritto dalla psicologa Ann Rule che ha conosciuto Ted Bundy, il serial killer. Coincidenza buffa: ho scoperto solo una settimana dopo l'arrivo del libro che stanno girando un film su Ted Bundy e che a interpretarlo sarà Zac Efron!

Il prossimo libro l'ho scoperto un po' per caso sfogliando il catalogo 66andsecond e mi ha incuriosito subito per il titolo: "Kabukicho" di Dominique Sylvain. L'autrice è francese mentre il romanzo è ambientato nell'omonimo quartiere a luci rossi giapponese in cui scompare una ragazza straniera. Un caso difficile per la polizia locale. Non vedo l'ora di scoprire qualcosa di più al riguardo, soprattutto voglio vedere se l'autrice sarà in grado di addentrarsi nella cultura giapponese e nella psiche dei suoi personaggi.

Infine un romanzo che non ha bisogno di grandi presentazioni: "Chesil beach" di Ian McEwan. Due innamorati in viaggio di nozze. Lui non vede l'ora di consumare la prima notte di nozze mentre lei ne è semplicemente disgustata. Lo sto leggendo proprio ora e lo stile di scrittura mi piace così come la lentezza con cui ci viene raccontata questa prima notte ripercorrendo la storia individuale dei protagonisti e quella che li ha portati al matrimonio. Mi mancano ormai poche pagine e devo dire che ne sono piacevolmente sorpresa perché non mi aspettavo questo tipo di storia.

Queste erano dunque le mie ultimissime entrate in libreria, voi avete letto qualcuno di questi titoli? Cosa ne pensate?

Ultimi acquisti: MANGA | HAUL DICEMBRE

Questo mese ho recuperato un po' di fumetti delle serie che sto seguendo ma anche qualche new entry. Natale è passato e mi sono meritata qualche regalo anche io!
Partiamo dal fumetto che forse attendevo di più di leggere: "My capricorn friend" di Otsuichi e Masaru Miyokawa. Questo fumetto autoconclusivo parla di bullismo, un tema che mi sta particolarmente a cuore. Sono curiosa di vedere come verrà affrontato visto che uno dei protagonisti finisce per uccidere il bullo che lo tormentava.

Ho recuperato poi i seguiti di "Tsubaki-chou lonely planet", "Amarsi, lasciarsi", "Le situazioni di lui e lei" e il sesto volume di "Orange". I primi tre sono manga che sto seguendo con moltissimo piacere mentre l'ultimo è una raccolta di storie extra che ruotano attorno a un personaggio, Suwa. Ve ne ho parlato qui sul blog se siete curiosi di saperne di più.

Infine dei nuovi numeri 1: "Given", "Empire of corpses" e "Come dopo la pioggia". Il primo mi è stato caldamente consigliato da una amica, si tratta di uno yaoi che parla di musica. "Empire of corpses" era stato annunciato a Lucca ed è il primo volume di tre, una storia horror steampunk su un giovane scienziato. "Come dopo la pioggia" è un seinen che attendevo dall'anno scorso, sentimentale e scolastico che vede per protagonista una bellissima ragazza innamorata di un uomo più grande. L'ho già letto e mi è piaciuto davvero tanto perché simpatico, maturo e con dei personaggi ben caratterizzati. Qui trovate i miei pensieri nel dettaglio.

Ultimi acquisti che sto amando! Make-up e Skincare Haul

Oggi torno sul blog mostrandovi i miei ultimi acquisti in fatto di make up e skincare. Non so bene perché ma con l'estate mi viene più voglia di prendermi cura della mia pelle e di giocare con il trucco. In genere punto su occhi o labbra, mi piacciono molto i colori brillanti anche come illuminanti mentre il fondotinta va in letargo fino a settembre.

Il primo prodotto di cui voglio parlarvi è una palette che ho preso insieme a mia sorella; in realtà è stata lei a farmela scoprire.

Campagna Einaudi Tascabili: i miei acquisti

Ciao a tutti! Dal 1 al 30 Giugno in alcune librerie è attiva una promozione sui Tascabili Einaudi e io ne ho subito approfittato perché con due libri regalano un telo mare di Moby Dick. Oggi quindi vorrei condividere con voi i miei acquisti :)

"La strada" Cormac McCarthy
Vincitore del James Tait Black Memorial Prize per la narrativa nel 2006 e il premio Pulitzer per la narrativa nel 2007. Ne è stato tratto anche un film, "The Road". Questo romanzo postapocalittico mi incuriosiva già da tempo e sono molto contenta di averlo trovato in libreria ^^
La trama: Un uomo e un bambino viaggiano attraverso le rovine di un mondo ridotto in cenere in direzione dell'oceano, dove forse i raggi raffreddati di un sole ormai livido cederanno un po' di tepore e qualche barlume di vita. Trascinano con se sulla strada tutto ciò che nel nuovo equilibrio delle cose ha ancora valore: un carrello del supermercato con quel po' di cibo che riescono a rimediare, un telo di plastica per proteggersi dalla pioggia gelida e una pistola con cui difendersi dalle bande di predoni che battono le strade decisi a sopravvivere a ogni costo. E poi il bene più prezioso: se stessi e il loro reciproco amore.

Shopping in Budapest

Forse non lo sapete, ma sono per metà ungherese! Eggià, mia mamma è nata a Budapest e lì ho trascorso questa settimana. Ecco cosa ho comprato!

Sono stata in un negozio creativo dove ho comprato della cera "gelatina" per fare delle candele, colorante per candele, sapone, formine per sapone, fragranze per sapone, colla da decoupage, pennelli, pittura per tessuti, giare di vetro. Mi piacciono le giare tipo Yankee Candles perché si possono usare per molte cose e io probabilmente le userò per fare altre candele! Proverò anche a fare una saponetta al profumo di mughetto, il mio fiore preferito. Poi, sono stata da Butler's dove ho comprato una carinissima tazza con gufi, scotch decorato con gufi e coccinelle e delle cannucce a forma di stella! Ah sì, ho comprato anche una papera da bagno vestita da chirurgo per il mio ragazzo che sta studiando medicina. Ho comprato un paio di scarpe eleganti e carine da Bershka, 2 docciaschiuma (prince charming di Lush e pistacchio e magnolia di Dove) e un diario vintage da Orangerie. Quando vado a Budapest, compro sempre i docciaschiuma della Dove perché hanno un sacco di fragrance che qua non si trovano! Poi alcune cose costano molto meno.

Altre cose che qua non si trovano sono le cheetos (il mio gusto preferito è al ketchup!), "strani" gusti del Nestea e dei biscotti vaniglia-cioccolato che adoro. Ho trovato il thè alla prugna e quello mango e ananas della Nestea (quest'ultimo sa di orsetti gommosi). Ho comprato anche del thè della Lipton che qua non trovo, ovvero pesca e mango e rosaspina. All'Asia Center ho comprato anche dei noodles. Infine, mia nonna mi ha regalato la bomba di Angry Birds!! Lo adoro!! E' così soffice :3

Durante la mia settimana a Budapest sono stata all'opera e guardato "Il ratto del serraglio" di Mozart. Mi è davvero piaciuto, era divertente, spiritoso e anche le musiche mi sono piaciute. Mi sa che non ho fatto altre cose interessanti, solo andare in giro e far shopping xD

You maybe don't know but I'm half Hungarian! Yes, my mom is born in Budapest and I spent there my last week. Here is what I bought! I went in a hobby shop where I bought jelly candle wax, candle colorant, soap, soap shapes, bath fragrances for the soap, decoupage glue and brush, fabric paint and pens, glass jars. I love jars like the yankee candles because you can use them for many things and I will probably use for making more candles! I will try to make my own soap with a lily of the wally fragrance. Then, I went to Butler's where I bought a really cute owl mug, owl and ladybug tape and some star straw! Oh yes, I bought also a bath duck in a doctor suite for my boyfriend who studies medicine at the university. I bought a very cute and elegant pair of shoes from Bershka, 2 shower gels (Prince Charming by Lush and pistachio and magnolia by Dove) and a vintage diary from Orangerie. When I go to Budapest I always buy Dove's shower gels because there are many fragrances that here I can't find. Also, many things that I can buy here in Italy, in Budapest are cheaper. 

Other things that there isn't here are cheetos (ketchup is my favorite one!), "strange" Nestea flavors and these vanilla and chocolate biscuits that I really adore. I found plum tea and pineapple and mango one from Nestea. I really love the last one because has the same flavor as the gummy bear! So yummy but not too sweet. I bought also Lipton tea that I can't font here (rose hip; peach and mango) and noodles that I bought from the Asia Center. Finally, my grandmother gave me "the bomb" from Angry Bird!! Love it!! It's so soft :3

When I was there I went to the Opera and watched The Abduction from the Seraglio by Mozart. I loved it, it was so funny and I really liked the music too. I think I don't other interesting things, just walked around and shopping xD

January haul

Hey! New video up on my channel about what I got from Sheinside and Oasap.
First, these 2 online shops have free shipping worldwide and I think it's great! They have amazing and super cute things!



Here is what I got:

Sheinside
parka: it's short, the inside it's fluffy and super soft but what I love the most it's the fact that it's so warm!
t-shirt: I adore the grafic of this t-shirt and it's so soft. It's perfect with any type of pants.
dress: it's very short but I think I could use it with leggins or skinny jeans. The top of the dress it's so particular and I like it.

Oasap
classic dress: it's a very classic dress in navy with a peach collar. I want it because it's simple and I've never had something like this.
tiffany dress: I love it so so so so much! It's my favorite one, it's just perfect! I love the color, the fact that has many little particulars, the lace at the top and bottom of the skirt, it's amazing.
paris sweater: I like it because it's soft and warm. It's long and oversized
sunglasses: I really love these ones because they have a cat shape which I think it's perfect for my face shape.
stocking: I saw this in many many shops online and finally I had the opportunity to buy it! It's super cute and the inside it's soft and warm, so I can wear it also in winter :)
pompom sweater: this it's just adorable, the color it's super cute and it has many pompoms that give more cuteness to sweater. Also, it's so soft and warm.

I know that everything it's so soft and warm, but I really like being warm in winter and that's all xD. I hope you like my recent purchase, I'm very happy with it because everything it's in the perfect size for me and not always you can find perfect clothes for you online! The quality also it's very high and that surprised me because I didn't spend a lot of money, really.

Shopping

Yesterday I went shopping with my little sister and we bought a lot of thing.

First, we went to Accessorize. I like to watch all the bags that they have because they have a lot of different types of bags, but I already have many bags. I wanted a particular neckless but I was disappointed of what they have in the shop. I found a cute sparkle cover for my phone and I paid it 12,45€ instead of 24,90€!! Finally, I bought some colorful elastic band that I can use also as a bracelet. They had different colors but I chose these ones.

We went also to H&M where I found two necklesses but they were not on sale :(. The first neckless in the picture can be wear in two different length while the second one has 3 neckless in one and it's very long.

We went to Kiko because I saw on their website a temporary dye and I found it! They had just 2 colors and I bought both.

The product is "Kiko hair shadow" and it's a temporary dye which goes away with one shampoo. The colors are so brilliant and the intensity of the color depends on your natural color.

It has a spherical shape which allows you to apply the product in a simple e precise way.

It's a compact powder to apply to the hair. You can find here a video that shows you how to apply the product. They were on sale at 6,20€ each.

I LOVE also Kiko's nail polishes, they have a lot of colors and different effects. The last formula it's the quick dry nail polish. I decided to try it in two colors: rose coral (803) and gold tiffany (834). I paid them 1,90€.

I bought also 2 "smoky eyeshadow" in certain golden coral (02) and refined anthracite (09). They're pencil eyeshadows that you can blend with their applicator. I paid them 3,90€ instead of 6,90€.

Finally, I went to Bershka where I always find a t-shirt that I must buy! In fact, I found this white/cream crop t-shirt that I can wear with my high waist skirt or pants. It's so soft :3
